The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), in collaboration with the Gujarat Government, is set to organize a buyer–seller meet aimed at supporting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) exporters across the state. The initiative is designed to connect local businesses with domestic and international buyers, helping them expand market access and strengthen export opportunities.
The event will provide MSME participants with a platform to showcase products, build new trade relationships and explore emerging export markets. Officials said the meet will also focus on sectors where Gujarat has strong manufacturing capabilities, including engineering goods, textiles, chemicals, handicrafts and processed foods.
Industry representatives noted that many smaller exporters face challenges in identifying reliable buyers and navigating global trade requirements. By bringing buyers and sellers together under one platform, the programme is expected to reduce entry barriers and improve business visibility for smaller enterprises.
The buyer–seller meet forms part of broader efforts to boost India’s export ecosystem and increase MSME participation in international trade. Gujarat, one of India’s leading industrial states, has been actively promoting export-oriented growth through infrastructure development, policy support and trade facilitation measures.
FIEO said such engagements are essential to help MSMEs scale operations, diversify markets and contribute more significantly to India’s long-term export targets.
