TCI Seaways, the coastal shipping division of Transport Corporation of India (TCI), has expanded its fleet with the induction of a new vessel, TCI SETU, marking another step in the company’s efforts to enhance India’s coastal logistics infrastructure.

The vessel was officially flagged off by D. P. Agrawal, who inaugurated the service with the ceremonial Green Flag. The addition of TCI SETU is expected to boost the company’s shipping capacity and improve operational efficiency, enabling more reliable and sustainable cargo transportation along India’s coastline.

The new vessel will play a key role in strengthening TCI Seaways’ multimodal logistics network by enhancing connectivity across India’s western, eastern, and southern coasts.

The launch of TCI SETU further reinforces TCI Seaways’ position as one of India’s leading coastal shipping operators. The company, which has been operating coastal shipping services since 1995, continues to invest in fleet expansion and capacity enhancement to meet the growing demand for multimodal cargo transportation.

With the induction of TCI SETU, TCI Seaways aims to strengthen cargo movement across the country while contributing to the development of a more efficient and sustainable coastal shipping ecosystem.
