Snowman Logistics has announced plans to expand its cold chain network with the development of a 10,000-pallet capacity cold storage facility in Hyderabad, strengthening its presence in one of India’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical, food processing, and agricultural logistics hubs.

The new facility is designed to meet the rising demand for temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services from sectors such as pharmaceuticals, dairy, seafood, frozen foods, quick-service restaurants, fresh produce, and e-commerce. Once operational, the warehouse will significantly enhance Snowman’s storage capacity and improve supply chain efficiency for customers across southern India.

The Hyderabad expansion forms part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its nationwide cold chain infrastructure and support businesses requiring reliable end-to-end temperature-controlled logistics. The facility will be equipped with modern refrigeration systems, advanced warehouse management technology, and stringent quality and safety standards to ensure product integrity throughout storage and distribution.

Strategically located, the warehouse will provide seamless connectivity to major consumption centres, manufacturing clusters, airports, and highways, enabling faster movement of perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo. It is also expected to support India’s growing pharmaceutical exports and food supply chains by offering efficient storage and distribution solutions.

Snowman Logistics said the investment reflects its commitment to expanding capacity in key markets and addressing the increasing demand for integrated cold chain services. The Hyderabad facility is expected to enhance operational efficiency, improve service reliability, and reinforce the company’s position as one of India’s leading cold chain logistics providers.
