The Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has commenced a new domestic rail service connecting ICD Tondiarpet (TNPM) in Chennai with MMLP Kadakola in Mysuru, further strengthening its domestic rail logistics network.

The maiden service carried 90 loaded CONCOR domestic containers from ICD Tondiarpet, Chennai, to MMLP Kadakola, Mysuru.

The new rail service is expected to enhance connectivity between the two key logistics locations and provide an efficient, reliable rail-based solution for the movement of domestic cargo. It will also support seamless cargo movement and offer customers an alternative to road transportation.

The initiative is part of CONCOR’s efforts to expand its domestic rail network and promote efficient, integrated and sustainable logistics solutions across India.
