Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) has launched a Short-Term Warehousing solution at its BLR Logistics Park in Bengaluru, offering flexible storage options for urgent, seasonal and time-sensitive cargo.
The new service allows customers to rent warehouse space for periods starting from just one day, eliminating the need for long-term lease commitments. The facility supports both general and temperature-controlled cargo, catering to diverse logistics requirements.
The initiative is expected to benefit small and mid-sized freight forwarders by providing flexible storage capacity during peak cargo seasons and periods of fluctuating demand. By enabling access to warehousing on a short-term basis, AISATS aims to help logistics operators manage cargo more efficiently while optimising storage costs and improving supply chain flexibility.
