Aegis Logistics Limited reported a 31.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 320.5 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 244.02 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Consolidated revenue from operations declined 3.5% to Rs 2,213.34 million during the second quarter of FY2026-27, from Rs 2,294.01 million a year earlier. Profit before tax, however, increased to Rs 420.27 million from Rs 310.2 million in the corresponding period last year.

For the six months ended September 30, 2026, consolidated net profit more than doubled to Rs 865.34 million, compared with Rs 419.38 million in the same period of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,570.2 million from Rs 4,013.42 million, reflecting an increase of approximately 13.9%.

In its standalone results, Aegis Logistics reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,068.73 million for the quarter, up from Rs 1,027.87 million in the year-ago period. Standalone net profit increased to Rs 394.15 million from Rs 166.71 million.

During the quarter, Aegis Logistics and its step-down subsidiary, Aegis Terminal (Pipavav), entered into a business transfer agreement for the transfer of a specialised ammonia storage terminal at Pipavav from the parent company to the subsidiary through a slump sale. The company recognised a profit of Rs 198.52 million from the transaction under other income.

The company’s board of directors approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026, at a meeting held on October 26, 2026. The results were reviewed by the company’s statutory auditors, CNK & Associates.

The quarterly performance reflects higher profitability despite a marginal decline in consolidated operating revenue, while the half-year results recorded growth in both net profit and revenue.
