Messina Line is set to remove its second call at Libya’s Misurata port from its West Med Line service, according to DynaLiners.
The service currently calls at Misurata twice during each rotation. Under the revised schedule, the port will be served once, with the call retained before Tripoli.
Messina Line deploys two vessels of around 700 TEU capacity each on the service. Following the revision, the updated port rotation will be: Castellón – Barcelona – Marseilles – Genoa – Misurata – Tripoli – Algiers – Castellón.
The West Med Line connects key ports in Spain, France and Italy with destinations in Libya and Algeria, providing maritime connectivity across the Western Mediterranean.
The revised rotation will streamline the service’s port calls while maintaining its connections to the key North African markets.
