    In response to recent developments in the region, CMA CGM has announced a revision of its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from North Europe to the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea and North Africa.

    The updated PSS will take effect from 1 April 2024 (loading date) until further notice. The surcharge applies to shipments originating from North Europe (excluding Portugal and Spain Atlantic), the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Poland, Baltic States and Ireland, and destined to the entire Mediterranean area, Adriatic, Black Sea region and North Africa (excluding Morocco).

    The revised surcharge, which will apply to dry cargo, including OOG (Out of Gauge) and special equipment, will be US$109 per unit or GB£100 per unit (for the UK).
