India-based Total Movements arranged for the delivery of two crystallisers and a dehydration tower from the east to the west coast of the country.

The multimodal project saw Total Movements receive the cargo at load ports on the western coast, before coordinating coastal shipping to the eastern seaboard. The items were discharged on onto hydraulic trailers and hauled inland to the refinery site.

Total Movements had to source a foreign-flag vessel to complete the coastal shipping portion of the project, and various civil works were required at discharge port due to large cargo dimensions. Moreover, it had to organise shutdowns of the electricity network, as required, enroute to the project site.

Total Movements is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
