    Niraj Priyadershi is set to be the next Director (Finance) of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a PSU under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Saturday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (F&A) in GAIL (India) Limited.

    Priyadershi has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of GAIL (India) Limited from the list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 5. On the list, out of 12 candidates, three candidates were from BHEL and one each from CWC, GAIL (India) Limited, MRPL, HOCL, RINL, ITDC, IREDA and Bridge And Roof Company (India) Limited.

    As Director (Finance) of CWC, Priyadershi will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director (MD). He will be the overall in-charge of finance and accounts functions of the organisation and is responsible for evolving and formulating related policies and their implementation, including Financial Planning, budgeting, costing, financial control, and preparing financial statements in compliance with corporate norms and statutory requirements.
