Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt. Ltd. (AISATS) has announced the appointment of Salim Chaudhary as its Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective immediately, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen operational leadership and enhance airport services across India.
Chaudhary brings over two decades of experience in airport operations, cargo handling, and aviation management, having held senior roles at prominent organizations in India and abroad. His appointment is expected to drive operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and expand AISATS’ footprint in airport cargo and passenger handling services.

AISATS, a joint venture between Air India and SATS Ltd. Singapore, provides ground handling, cargo, and passenger services at key airports across India. Industry analysts said Chaudhary’s appointment is likely to strengthen AISATS’ operational capabilities as the company handles increased cargo volumes and passenger traffic, particularly amid India’s growing role as a global aviation hub.
