Capt. Dr. K. Karthik, Principal of AMET Institute of Science and Technology (Maersk Centre of Excellence), visited the A.P. Moller – Maersk headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of an international maritime engagement aimed at strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
During the visit, Capt. Dr. Karthik held discussions with Nynne Norman Scheuer, Senior Director and Head of Marine People & Culture, and Alexandra Davies, Head of Marine People Europe, Fleet Management & Technology, at A.P. Moller – Maersk. The interactions covered developments in the maritime industry, marine workforce, fleet management, emerging technologies and the evolving role of maritime professionals.
He also visited the Maersk Museum, where Henning Morgen, Maersk Group Historian, provided insights into the history, legacy, vision and values of A.P. Moller – Maersk.
