Bassam Shipping Company has been officially authorized as a Physical Bunkers Supplier for international vessels calling at major ports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and operational expansion.

The authorization covers bunkering operations at Duba – NEOM Port, Jeddah Islamic Port, Yanbu Commercial Port, and Dammam Port, which is expected to commence shortly. This development strengthens Bassam Shipping’s role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding maritime and logistics ecosystem.

Demonstrating operational readiness from the outset, the company completed its first bunkering assignment by supplying two international vessels, delivering 64,000 litres of bunker fuel to each vessel. The operation underscored Bassam Shipping’s technical capability, efficiency, and adherence to international maritime standards.

With this approval, Bassam Shipping Company is now fully equipped to offer a comprehensive range of marine services, including high-quality bunkering solutions, marine and husbandry services, end-to-end logistics support, customs clearance, and specialized marine solutions tailored to the specific requirements of vessels and ports.

Company officials said the achievement reflects Bassam Shipping’s commitment to excellence and its long-term vision of contributing to the Kingdom’s maritime growth, particularly in strategic ports aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiatives.

Bassam Shipping Company continues to position itself as a reliable partner for shipowners, operators, and charterers, delivering professional, efficient, and dependable services across the region’s most critical ports.
