    Chennai Port Authority organized a Workshop-cum-Roadshow in Chennai on the theme “Catalyzing Maritime Excellence: People, Infrastructure & Opportunities.”

    The event witnessed the presence of Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, Chennai Port Authority, along with Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, and senior officers of the Port.

    Adding to the significance of the occasion, Shri T.K. Ramachandran, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, graced the event with his presence.

    During the inaugural session, the Chairperson delivered a special address highlighting the upcoming India Maritime Week 2025. He sensitized participants on its importance, while also outlining the vast investment opportunities and strong value propositions that the maritime sector presents for stakeholders.

    The roadshow served as a platform to showcase Chennai Port’s commitment to fostering maritime growth and to engage with industry stakeholders in unlocking new avenues of collaboration.
