    Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has launched a new Express Export Train Service connecting Inland Container Depot (ICD) Dhandari Kalan, Ludhiana (DDL), with Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JN Port), Mumbai, via Dadri.

    The first service commenced on August 29, 2026, providing exporters in North India with a faster and more reliable rail connection to one of the country’s major maritime gateways.

    The new service is aimed at reducing transit and turnaround times by streamlining cargo movement through the Dadri route and offering predictable scheduling for time-sensitive export consignments. It will directly connect Ludhiana’s industrial and manufacturing base with JN Port, facilitating smoother movement of export cargo to international markets.

    The express rail service is also expected to improve supply chain efficiency while offering exporters a dependable, cost-effective and more sustainable alternative for long-distance cargo movement.

    With the introduction of scheduled express services and continued investment in intermodal infrastructure, CONCOR is strengthening rail-based logistics connectivity and supporting efforts to reduce logistics costs and enhance the competitiveness of India’s exports.
