Etihad Cargo has launched the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub, which it describes as the air cargo industry’s first logistics training academy established by an airline, aimed at enhancing operational excellence and professional development across the global air cargo sector.

The new platform has been developed to deliver consistent operational, safety and compliance standards throughout Etihad Cargo’s worldwide partner network while providing structured learning opportunities for its representatives, partners, customers and air cargo professionals. The curriculum covers operational standards, products and services, safety, compliance, and industry-certified programmes created in collaboration with accredited institutions.

The Excellence Hub offers a range of learning formats, including foundation courses, podcasts, masterclasses, executive education programmes and a ‘miniMBA’. Participants receive accredited certifications upon completing learning pathways, while gamification features such as leaderboards and LinkedIn badges are designed to encourage engagement. University students are also granted complimentary access to the platform.

The academy also incorporates AI-enabled learning capabilities that provide personalised feedback and performance analytics. Its mobile-first design allows users to access training and educational content from anywhere in the world.

Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the Excellence Hub represents “a significant step forward” in developing knowledge, capability and service quality across the airline’s global cargo network.

“By bringing together operational expertise, industry knowledge, and accredited learning pathways in one platform, the Excellence Hub will help raise capability standards across the global air cargo ecosystem,” Brun said.

Dr Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, said the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to investing in people and strengthening the future workforce of the air cargo industry.

She added that the Excellence Hub will support professional development while enhancing operational excellence, customer service and efficiency across the sector.
