Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL) has launched a dedicated weekly export block train service for CMA CGM connecting ICD Garhi Harsaru in Gurgaon with Mundra Port, further strengthening rail-based export logistics connectivity from North India.
The inaugural train was flagged off on June 24, 2026, marking a significant step towards enhancing supply chain efficiency and providing exporters with faster, more reliable, and cost-effective access to global markets.
The weekly service is designed to offer improved transit reliability, seamless cargo movement, and enhanced connectivity to Mundra Port, one of India’s leading container gateways. By ensuring a consistent rail link, the service will help exporters optimize logistics planning, reduce transportation bottlenecks, and improve overall supply chain performance.
The initiative reflects the growing collaboration between Gateway Distriparks and CMA CGM to strengthen India’s export infrastructure and support increasing trade volumes. The service is expected to create greater value for customers by facilitating efficient movement of export cargo from the hinterland to international shipping networks.
With this launch, GDL continues to expand its multimodal logistics offerings, reinforcing its commitment to supporting India’s export growth through integrated rail and port connectivity solutions.
