Haryana marked a significant milestone in its logistics and industrial development with the commencement of the first loaded freight train from the NHML Hub to MATP.

The train was flagged off by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in the presence of Rao Narbir Singh, Minister for Industries & Commerce, Haryana.

Senior officials from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), including Manish Avasthi, ED/Infrastructure, and Vinit Tyagi, CGM/Jaipur, along with officials from NICDC and CWC, participated in the event.

The NHML Hub’s direct connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor through New Dabla station is expected to strengthen the integration of industrial and logistics infrastructure with high-capacity freight rail networks.

The commencement of loaded train operations is set to facilitate faster and more reliable cargo movement, improve loading and unloading capabilities, reduce dependence on road transportation and support cost-effective, efficient and seamless supply-chain operations across Haryana.
