To enhance Northern India’s export-import (EXIM) logistics ecosystem, ICD-Bawal, operated by Sanjvik Terminals, has announced two key developments — the launch of a Bill of Lading (BL) Point by Ocean Network Express (ONE) Line and the resumption of EXIM rail services connecting major Indian seaports.
Ocean Network Express (ONE) Line, one of the world’s leading container shipping companies, has officially commenced its BL Point operations at ICD-Bawal, owned by Om Logistics. This strategic addition enables exporters and importers — particularly from the automobile and white goods sectors in the Korean and Japanese industrial corridor — to benefit from direct, faster, and more reliable EXIM service delivery through ICD-Bawal. The move is expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and reinforce the terminal’s role as a key logistics hub for North India.
In a parallel development, ICD-Bawal has resumed EXIM rail transportation to and from major seaports including Mundra, Pipavav, and JNPT, in collaboration with Pristine Logistics & Infraprojects Ltd., which operates a fleet of over 80 rakes. The presence of a Gati Shakti terminal within the Bawal catchment area now allows double-stack container movement, improving turnaround times and cost efficiency for customers.
These combined efforts have propelled ICD-Bawal to achieve record-high TEU volumes in September 2025, underscoring its rising importance in India’s EXIM logistics landscape.
With continued focus on infrastructure expansion, process excellence, and customer-centric operations, Sanjvik Terminals is strengthening ICD-Bawal’s position as a preferred inland container depot in Northern India. The new partnerships and enhanced multimodal connectivity mark another milestone in the terminal’s contribution to India’s logistics growth and EXIM transformation.
