LEAP India, the KKR-backed logistics asset pooling company, is moving ahead with plans for an initial public offering (IPO) as it seeks to strengthen its market position and support its next phase of growth. The company is reportedly targeting a valuation of around ₹7,000 crore through the proposed public listing.

The IPO is expected to provide LEAP India with additional capital to expand its nationwide logistics asset network, invest in technology, and enhance its service offerings. The company specializes in pallet pooling, container pooling, and returnable packaging solutions that help businesses improve supply chain efficiency while reducing logistics costs.

Over the years, LEAP India has built a strong presence across key industries, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), automotive, pharmaceuticals, retail, consumer durables, and e-commerce. Its asset-sharing model enables customers to optimize inventory movement, minimize packaging waste, and improve operational efficiency.

Industry analysts believe the planned IPO reflects growing investor confidence in India’s logistics sector, which is benefiting from rising manufacturing activity, expanding warehousing infrastructure, and increasing adoption of organized supply chain solutions. Government initiatives such as the National Logistics Policy and investments in multimodal connectivity are also supporting long-term sector growth.

The proposed listing is expected to enhance LEAP India’s financial flexibility, enabling it to expand its asset base, strengthen digital capabilities, and pursue strategic acquisitions or partnerships. The company is also expected to continue investing in sustainable logistics solutions, including reusable transport packaging that supports circular supply chains.

If successful, the IPO would rank among the notable public market offerings in India’s logistics industry, highlighting the sector’s growing importance in supporting the country’s manufacturing, retail, and export ecosystem. The move underscores increasing investor interest in businesses that provide technology-enabled and asset-efficient logistics solutions.
