Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Wan Hai Lines are revising the California port call on their joint Pacific South 8 (PS8)/AP2 service, replacing Los Angeles with Long Beach. ONE markets the service as PS8, while Wan Hai operates it under the AP2 designation.
The change will take effect with WAN HAI 723 voyage 027E, which is scheduled to arrive on September 3, 2026. The Los Angeles call at Yusen Terminals (YTI) will be replaced by a call at International Transportation Service (ITS) in Long Beach.
Following the change, the revised service rotation will be Qingdao – Ningbo – Long Beach – Oakland – Qingdao.
The PS8 service provides a direct connection between key ports in China and Southern California, with Oakland retained as the second US West Coast port. The adjustment changes the terminal location in the Los Angeles–Long Beach port complex without altering the broader service rotation.
The move to Long Beach is expected to streamline terminal operations for PS8/AP2 cargo and provide shippers with continued access to Southern California’s major container gateway.
