In a groundbreaking move set to transform customer service in the shipping industry, Econship is introducing a revolutionary feature: Insta-CRO (Container Release Order). Designed to eliminate delays and enhance efficiency, Insta-CRO offers instant booking confirmations (CRO) right after a customer places a request through the Econship App or website.

Yet to be activated from the App, Econship plans to roll out this feature shortly. Once live, loyal customers will no longer have to wait or follow up through calls or emails. The entire process will happen in real time and be accessible even during late hours or on weekends – a true industry first.

A Green Initiative to Reduce Carbon Footprint
Insta-CRO is more than just a technological leap; it’s a green initiative by Econship. The feature significantly lowers the carbon footprint associated with traditional booking confirmation methods by eliminating the need for extensive paperwork and reducing communication through emails and phone calls. It aligns with Econship’s commitment to sustainability while enhancing customer convenience.

    Selective Rollout for Enhanced Efficiency
Currently, Econship has strategically limited this feature to specific trade sectors and a select group of loyal customers. This approach allows thorough testing and optimisation before extending it globally. Certain cargo types, including dangerous goods (DG), flexitanks, and refrigerated cargo, are initially excluded from Insta-CRO due to their complexity. Over time, the scope will gradually be expanded to include more customers and cargo types.

New customers will not be granted access to Insta-CRO from the outset. Instead, they will receive CROs in the standard way, which still promises swift processing within 15 minutes, aided by human intervention.

Econship: Leading Innovation and Sustainability in Shipping

Econship’s commitment to leveraging technology for a superior customer experience sets it apart in the maritime sector. With Insta-CRO, the company not only sets a new standard for efficiency but also demonstrates its dedication to environmental responsibility.

Stay tuned as Econship prepares to launch Insta-CRO on the Econship App, bringing the future of shipping to your fingertips while making the industry greener.
