Softlink Academy, the training arm of logistics tech company Softlink Global, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Globelink WW India to build a future-ready workforce for the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
The collaboration combines Softlink’s ERP-driven skilling platform Logi-Sys with Globelink WW’s operational network and hiring footprint. The goal: to deploy certified, job-ready professionals across India, the Middle East, and Africa in roles like documentation, customs clearance, and freight operations.
Candidates will be trained through Softlink’s targeted programmes—LogiLEARN, designed for mid-level logistics roles, and LogiSKILL, focused on entry-level operations. The curriculum blends domain knowledge with hands-on ERP exposure and includes live process interaction at Globelink WW locations.
“This collaboration is about transforming raw talent into professionals who can contribute from day one,” said Amit Maheshwari, CEO of Softlink Global.
M.P. Nair, Deputy General Manager – HR at Globelink WW India, added, “We’re pleased to work with Softlink to create industry-ready talent aligned with real-world logistics demands.”
The partnership is expected to address the acute skill shortage in logistics, one of India’s fastest-growing employment sectors, by creating a scalable, tech-enabled talent pipeline.
