The Tuticorin International Container Terminal (TICT), operating under VOC Port, has achieved a major operational milestone by handling over 2,00,000 TEUs since commencing operations on 16th September 2024.

This remarkable achievement within just over a year underscores TICT’s growing role in enhancing the efficiency and capacity of container handling at the strategically significant Tuticorin Port.

TICT’s milestone reflects the strong support and collaboration of trade partners, port users, and stakeholders who have contributed to the terminal’s steady growth. It also reinforces VOC Port’s commitment to strengthening India’s maritime logistics network and positioning Tuticorin as a key hub for global trade.

Port officials noted that the terminal’s consistent performance, advanced infrastructure, and customer-centric approach have played a pivotal role in achieving this landmark.

This milestone marks yet another step forward in India’s drive toward maritime excellence and logistics competitiveness.
