    AD Ports Group has announced a strategic partnership agreement signed between its digital arm, Maqta Technologies Group and Pakistan Single Window (PSW).

    This cooperation seeks to boost digital innovation and efficiency in Pakistan’s cross-border commerce by using both organisations’ experience in building and implementing digital solutions.

    Furthermore, AD Ports noted that the alliance will provide value-added services such as digital customs clearing, smart warehousing, risk management systems, eCommerce, cargo /port community systems, Single Window, trade finance, and predictive analytics for trade optimisation and risk management.

    The partnership intends to expedite trade procedures, minimise delays, and increase transparency and regulatory compliance through the use of sophisticated technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and IoT.

    According to the agreement, Maqta Technologies Group and Pakistan Single Window will work together to identify and develop joint commercial opportunities in digital trade facilitation and logistics solutions around the world, with the goal of improving compliance and securing trade transactions while promoting environmentally sustainable trade practices such as paperless documentation and carbon-efficient logistics.

    This month, AD Ports Group announced it will receive three new Panamax cranes from Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. Ltd (ZPMC), ordered for the Group’s new multipurpose cargo terminal in Safaga, Egypt.
