VOC Port has achieved a significant milestone by handling 1,33,520 tonnes of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) up to July in the current financial year 2025–26, reflecting a 40.01% growth compared to 95,364 tonnes handled during the same period of 2024–25.

This remarkable performance showcases VOC Port’s strategic contribution to ensuring a steady energy supply chain in the region, while supporting the growing domestic and industrial demand for LPG.

The increase in LPG handling has been driven by enhanced operational efficiency, improved berthing facilities, and seamless coordination with stakeholders, including oil marketing companies and logistics partners.

Speaking of the achievement, Port Chairperson Shri Sushant Kumar Purohit said, “VOC Port continues to strengthen its infrastructure and services to handle energy cargoes more efficiently. This growth not only reflects our operational capabilities but also our commitment to supporting the region’s energy requirements.”

With sustained efforts in capacity augmentation and adoption of modern handling systems, VOC Port is well-positioned to play a crucial role in India’s energy logistics sector and meet the rising demand in the coming months.
