HMM has marked another milestone in its green fleet expansion with the naming ceremony of HMM CLOVER, a 9,000 TEU methanol-powered containership and the latest addition to the company’s next-generation vessel lineup. The ship is part of the same advanced eco-friendly series as HMM GREEN, which was delivered earlier this year.

During the ceremony, the traditional champagne-breaking ritual was performed, officially christening the vessel and wishing it good fortune and safe voyages in the years ahead.

HMM CLOVER is among nine new vessels designed to run on bio-methanol, a fuel capable of cutting carbon emissions by up to 65%. As these ships join the fleet, HMM continues to strengthen both its global service network and its long-term commitment to environmentally sustainable shipping.

The addition of HMM CLOVER reinforces the company’s strategic push toward cleaner maritime operations and a greener supply chain for customers worldwide.
