CMA CGM has announced an update to its SEAS 3 service, aimed at enhancing connectivity and service reliability between Asia and the East Coast of South America, particularly Brazil.

Under the revised configuration, the SEAS 3 service will operate with an updated port rotation: Shanghai – Hong Kong – Shekou – Singapore – Santos – Itajaí – Singapore.

The changes are designed to improve coverage from key Asian export hubs while offering more efficient access to major Brazilian gateways. The inclusion of Hong Kong strengthens links with South China cargo, while weekly calls at Itajaí provide additional options for shippers serving southern Brazil.

CMA CGM said the updated service will deliver competitive transit times and improved schedule reliability, supporting growing trade volumes between Asia and South America.

With this adjustment, the French carrier continues to fine-tune its network to better meet customer demand and reinforce its presence on one of the world’s important emerging trade lanes.
