The MV Besiktas has successfully berthed at the North Berth of Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port Limited, marking a significant milestone as the first deepest-draft Capesize vessel (14.14 meters) to call at the port.

This landmark achievement highlights Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port’s expanding capabilities and underscores its operational excellence. The port’s ability to handle such deep-draft vessels reflects its commitment to setting new benchmarks in maritime operations and supporting growing trade volumes efficiently.

Officials from the port noted that this milestone not only strengthens the port’s position in handling large-capacity vessels but also reinforces its strategic role in India’s maritime infrastructure.

The successful berthing of the MV Besiktas is expected to open doors for more Capesize vessel operations, boosting cargo handling potential and further enhancing trade throughput at the port.
