Tailwind Shipping Lines has announced a direct integration with CargoWise, WiseTech Global’s industry-leading logistics execution platform, marking a significant step forward in the digitalisation of ocean freight operations.

The integration allows freight forwarders and logistics providers using CargoWise to search schedules, access rates, make bookings and manage shipments with Tailwind in real time, without leaving the CargoWise environment. The move eliminates manual data entry, reduces operational friction and improves visibility across the shipping process.

Through the connection, Tailwind’s services are now fully accessible within CargoWise’s global carrier network, enabling end-to-end digital booking and shipment management from planning through execution.

Tailwind Shipping Lines said the partnership supports its focus on simplifying shipping workflows, improving data accuracy and enhancing customer experience. By connecting directly with one of the world’s most widely used freight forwarding platforms, the carrier aims to offer faster confirmations, fewer errors and greater transparency for its customers.

WiseTech Global noted that the integration further strengthens CargoWise’s ocean carrier connectivity, giving users broader access to digitally enabled liner services and supporting more efficient global supply chains.

Tailwind operates a growing network of container services across Asia and Europe, including its Panda Express, Tiger Express and Dolphin Express services, and focuses on calling at smaller ports to deliver competitive transit times and reliable schedules.

The CargoWise integration is expected to play a key role in Tailwind’s ongoing digital strategy, with scope for expanded functionality and additional transport modes in the future.
