    Shri Jose VJ, Chairman and Managing Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), paid a courtesy visit to Shri VD Satheeshan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, to discuss the company’s ongoing growth, future expansion strategy, and its role in strengthening the state’s maritime sector.

    During the meeting, the CSL CMD conveyed his greetings to the Chief Minister and reaffirmed the shipyard’s commitment to partnering with the Government of Kerala in advancing the state’s industrial and maritime development.

    Jose VJ briefed the Chief Minister on the significant progress achieved by Cochin Shipyard in recent years, highlighting the company’s ongoing projects, planned expansion initiatives, and long-term strategic roadmap. He also outlined CSL’s growing national and international project portfolio and its efforts to strengthen India’s maritime capabilities.

    The discussions covered the company’s initiatives in promoting sustainable maritime transportation, expanding modern shipbuilding and ship repair infrastructure, and supporting port-led development as part of Kerala’s broader economic growth agenda.

    The Chief Minister appreciated CSL’s contribution to the maritime industry and conveyed his best wishes to the company. He also assured the Government of Kerala’s continued support for transformative maritime and infrastructure projects that contribute to the state’s socio-economic development.

    The meeting reaffirmed the close collaboration between Cochin Shipyard and the Kerala government in positioning the state as a leading maritime and shipbuilding hub while driving sustainable industrial growth.
