Adani Logistics has launched its first dedicated block train service from Inland Container Depot (ICD) Kishangarh in Rajasthan to Mundra Port, marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s export logistics network.
The inaugural service has been introduced in collaboration with Gold Star Line and Shree Patni Logistics, offering exporters a faster, more reliable and sustainable rail-based cargo transportation solution. The first train transported 168 fully sealed export containers from Kishangarh to Mundra Port for onward shipment to global destinations.
The new rail connectivity is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency for key industries in the Kishangarh region, particularly the solar equipment, granite and marble sectors, by reducing transit times and improving cargo reliability.
The initiative also supports the growing shift towards multimodal logistics, helping exporters optimize costs while reducing carbon emissions through increased use of rail transport. The dedicated service is expected to strengthen hinterland connectivity with Mundra Port, India’s largest commercial port, and further reinforce Rajasthan’s position as a major export hub.
Adani Logistics said the new block train service reflects its commitment to building smarter, integrated supply chains that improve trade competitiveness and support India’s expanding export ecosystem.
