The Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) is set to commence its new “Assured Transit Time” domestic rail service connecting ICD-Whitefield (WFD), Bengaluru, with Tughlakabad, Delhi, from 22 August 2026.
Under the new service, a domestic container rake will be dispatched from Whitefield every Saturday to ICD-Tondiarpet (TNPM), Chennai. From Chennai, the containers will connect with onward rail services moving to Tughlakabad, Delhi.
CONCOR has assured a total transit time of seven days from Whitefield, Bengaluru, to Tughlakabad, providing customers with a reliable, predictable and time-bound rail transportation solution.
The new service is expected to strengthen rail-based connectivity between southern and northern India, while offering businesses an efficient alternative for the movement of domestic containerised cargo.
With assured transit schedules, CONCOR aims to enhance supply chain reliability, improve cargo planning and provide customers with greater visibility over their domestic freight movements.
The launch further reinforces CONCOR’s focus on developing efficient, dependable and customer-oriented rail logistics solutions across key industrial and consumption centres in India.
