Ashwini Container Movers Ltd (ACMPL) has secured a five-year vessel operations contract from a major terminal operator at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), with the agreement expected to generate approximately ₹35 crore in revenue over its tenure.
Under the contract, ACMPL will initially deploy 15 trailers, with scope for additional vehicle deployment based on operational requirements.
The contract further strengthens the company’s presence at JNPA, one of India’s leading container ports, while deepening its relationship with the terminal operator. ACMPL said the engagement is expected to support its long-term growth and create opportunities for additional business.
The contract win comes amid a significant expansion of the company’s owned fleet. During FY2026, ACMPL increased its company-owned cargo trucks from 261 at the end of FY2025 to 401, while handling 28,243 containers during the year.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company reported a 36% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹130.3 crore. Profit after tax rose 22% to ₹14.06 crore during the same period.
The latest agreement provides ACMPL with a multi-year revenue stream and strengthens its position in port-linked logistics and vessel operations. The company is a second-party logistics (2PL) provider specialising in the transportation of export and import cargo.
ACMPL operates through JNPA and Hazira ports and serves corporate customers across multiple industry sectors. Its fleet has grown to more than 401 trailers, supported by customised operational software, vehicle-tracking technology and driver training systems.
The new JNPA contract is expected to provide a platform for further vehicle deployment as operational requirements increase, potentially creating additional business opportunities for the company.
