    Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal chaired the 2nd meeting of the Governing Council of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, Gujarat, reviewing the progress of Phase 1A and ongoing works at the project.

    The meeting focused on expediting project execution, strengthening connectivity, integrating tourism and establishing a dedicated Maritime Research Institute.

    The review reaffirmed the government’s vision to develop NMHC Lothal as a world-class destination showcasing India’s rich and diverse maritime heritage.
