Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) is reorganising its services between India and the Red Sea, introducing separate South and North Red Sea services, according to DynaLiners.
Under the revised arrangement, the carrier’s South Red Sea Service (SRS) will operate as a dedicated shuttle connecting Nhava Sheva and Jeddah. The service will deploy two vessels with capacities ranging from 1,800 to 2,600 TEU, offering sailings every nine days.
The revised SRS rotation will be: Nhava Sheva – Jeddah – Nhava Sheva
Meanwhile, the North Red Sea Service (NRS) will cover the remaining ports in the network. Two vessels with capacities ranging from 1,700 to 2,500 TEU will operate the service at approximately fortnightly intervals.
The NRS rotation will be: Nhava Sheva – Djibouti – Aqaba – Sokhna – Sohar – Nhava Sheva
The restructuring separates Jeddah into a dedicated shuttle service while consolidating the other regional port calls under the NRS, providing a revised service structure for Emirates Shipping Line’s India–Red Sea connectivity.
