    Sandeep Juneja

DHL Express has appointed Sandeep Juneja as Senior Vice-President for South Asia and Managing Director for India, effective November 1, 2026. He succeeds R S Subramanian, who is moving to Blue Dart as Managing Director.

Juneja brings more than three decades of professional experience, including over two decades with DHL Express, where he joined in 2004. He has been a member of the India Management Board since 2007 and has held senior leadership positions across sales, marketing and commercial functions. He took charge of the company’s commercial operations in India in 2013.

In his new role, Juneja will lead DHL Express operations across India and South Asia, overseeing Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. His priorities will include strengthening customer partnerships, expanding business opportunities and driving sustainable growth while enhancing service excellence.

During his tenure, Juneja has played a significant role in shaping DHL Express’s commercial strategy and strengthening its market position. His responsibilities have included customer development, strategic pricing, digitalisation and identifying new growth opportunities, with a focus on profitable growth and customer value.

Commenting on the appointment, Ken Lee, CEO for Asia Pacific, DHL Express, said India and South Asia were among the most dynamic markets in the region, offering significant opportunities for businesses to expand their international presence and participate in global trade. He expressed confidence in Juneja’s market knowledge, customer relationships and leadership capabilities to steer the business through its next phase of growth.

Juneja said it was a privilege to lead an organisation with which he had been associated for more than two decades. Highlighting India and Bangladesh as high-growth markets for the group, he said his focus would be on customers, employees, sustainable business growth and delivering excellent service.

The leadership transition comes as DHL Express looks to strengthen its presence across South Asia and capitalise on growing international trade and cross-border logistics opportunities in the region.
