Allcargo Logistics Limited, an integrated logistics provider with businesses spanning Domestic Supply Chain, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics, has reported a significant improvement in profitability for the second quarter of FY2026-27, supported by better customer service levels, pricing discipline and operational efficiencies.

The company reported a consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹19 crore in Q2FY27, registering a 487% year-on-year growth compared with a loss of ₹5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Pre-Exceptional Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹24 crore, up 167% from ₹9 crore in Q2FY26.

Gross profit increased 13% year-on-year in Q2FY27 and 12% in H1FY27. EBITDA grew 24% in the second quarter and 31% in the first half of FY27. Revenue registered a 3.4% year-on-year growth in Q2FY27, while H1FY27 revenue increased 7.1%. The EBITDA margin for the first half stood at 13.4%.

In the Express Distribution business, shipment volumes remained broadly stable at approximately 3.11 lakh tonnes in Q2FY27, compared with 3.12 lakh tonnes in Q1FY27. The company said customer engagement initiatives, service-quality improvements and network optimisation are expected to support volume recovery and yield improvement.

The Consultative Logistics business recorded a year-on-year revenue increase of ₹9 crore during the quarter, driven by higher throughput from existing customers. Improved warehouse utilisation, cost optimisation and recovery of additional costs from customers also contributed to better margins.

Commenting on the performance, Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Allcargo Logistics Limited, said the first-half performance reflected continued progress in strengthening the fundamentals of the company’s domestic logistics businesses. He highlighted pricing discipline, cost recovery and process optimisation as key factors supporting improved profitability and margins.

Kulkarni said the company was witnessing a recovery in volumes with the onset of the festive season and expected the momentum to continue. He added that profitable growth and revenue expansion would remain the key priorities for H2FY27, supported by improvements in service levels, capacity utilisation and operating costs.

The company expects festive-season demand to support growth in Q3FY27, particularly across automotive, electronics, heavy engineering and e-commerce segments. Its priorities for the second half of FY27 include restoring volume growth, protecting yields, improving capacity utilisation and strengthening cash generation.
