    Danish container line Maersk has unveiled upgrades to its ME2 service, extending its operations to North Europe.

    The ME2 service, formerly turning in the Mediterranean (Algeciras and Tangiers), is undergoing expansion. This revamped service will broaden its reach from West India into North Europe.

    The revised ME2 rotation will be as follows:

    Jebel Ali (United Arab Emirates) – Mundra (India) – Jawaharlal Nehru (India) – Port Tangiers (Morocco) – Algeciras (Spain) – Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Felixstowe (United Kingdom) – Bremerhaven (Germany) – Port Tangiers (Morocco) – Salalah (Oman)

    First effective vessel deployment:

    Westbound
