Afcom Holdings has entered into a long-term agreement with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) for the supply of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), strengthening the company’s fuel-supply arrangements for its aviation operations.

The agreement will provide Afcom Holdings with a more stable and predictable source of aviation fuel, an important component of operating costs for airlines and air-cargo operators. The long-term arrangement is expected to support the company as it expands its aviation and logistics activities.

ATF is one of the largest variable costs for aviation operators, making reliable sourcing and effective fuel-cost management critical to maintaining operational efficiency. A long-term supply arrangement can provide greater visibility over procurement and help reduce exposure to short-term supply disruptions.

HPCL, one of India’s major oil marketing companies, has an extensive aviation-fuel infrastructure serving airports across the country. Its supply network provides fuel to airlines, cargo operators and other aviation customers.

For Afcom Holdings, the agreement is expected to strengthen operational planning and support the company’s growth in the air-cargo sector. The company operates freighter aircraft and focuses on cargo connectivity, making dependable fuel availability particularly important as flight operations increase.

The partnership also highlights the growing importance of supporting infrastructure and supply agreements as India’s air-cargo market expands. Rising e-commerce activity, pharmaceutical shipments, electronics exports and other time-sensitive cargo are driving demand for additional air-freight capacity.

Long-term fuel partnerships can help aviation companies manage one of their most significant operating expenses while maintaining continuity of flight schedules. They can also provide greater certainty when global crude oil and refined-fuel markets experience volatility.

The agreement with HPCL therefore represents a strategic step for Afcom Holdings as it seeks to strengthen its operational base and support future expansion. With India’s aviation and air-cargo sectors continuing to grow, secure fuel availability is likely to remain an important part of operators’ long-term planning.
