CMA CGM has announced changes to the COLUMBUS PNW service by revising its port call rotation to improve operational efficiency, enhance schedule reliability, and better meet customer requirements across the trans-Pacific trade.

The updated rotation is designed to optimize vessel deployment and streamline cargo flows between Asia and the Pacific Northwest (PNW) region of North America. By refining the sequence of port calls, CMA CGM aims to reduce transit disruptions, improve on-time performance, and strengthen connectivity for importers and exporters.

The COLUMBUS PNW service plays an important role in linking major manufacturing hubs in Asia with key gateway ports on the U.S. and Canadian West Coast. The revised port rotation is expected to provide more efficient cargo handling, improved intermodal connections, and greater flexibility for customers moving containerized freight.

CMA CGM said the changes are part of its ongoing efforts to adapt its service network to evolving market conditions, port operations, and customer demand. The carrier regularly reviews its shipping schedules to ensure optimal network performance and maintain a competitive service offering.

Customers are advised to consult the latest sailing schedules and service advisories for details of the revised port sequence and effective implementation dates. The updated COLUMBUS PNW rotation is expected to support more reliable supply chains while reinforcing CMA CGM’s trans-Pacific network.
