CMA CGM has revised the port rotation of its MPS service linking the Mediterranean and Southern Europe, with Alexandria retained in the updated schedule.

Under the new arrangement, MPS vessels will no longer make direct calls at Leixões. Instead, CMA CGM will connect the Portuguese port through weekly feeder services from Setúbal, using its PGE and PGW services. The carrier will also provide rail connectivity via Setúbal for cargo moving to and from Leixões.

The revised MPS rotation is: Setúbal – Marseille – Genoa – La Spezia – Piraeus – Beirut – Latakia – Mersin – Alexandria – Salerno – La Spezia – Genoa – Barcelona – Casablanca – Setúbal.

The updated rotation was introduced in connection with the VENTO DI LEVANTE voyage 0XPMHW1MA, which was scheduled to arrive at Setúbal on October 2.

CMA CGM said the changes are aimed at improving service regularity and reliability while strengthening connectivity with ports across the Mediterranean.
