COSCO Shipping Europe is strengthening its Baltic feeder network by adding two weekly feeder calls at the Port of Gdynia in cooperation with Diamond Line.

The expanded service is aimed at improving regional cargo connectivity and enhancing feeder links between the Baltic region and major European shipping corridors. Industry sources said the additional calls are expected to provide greater flexibility and improved transit options for importers and exporters moving cargo through northern Europe.

The Port of Gdynia has been witnessing growing container activity as shipping lines expand services to support rising trade flows across Central and Eastern Europe. The new feeder operations are expected to strengthen cargo distribution efficiency and support seamless connections with long-haul international shipping services.

Shipping analysts noted that feeder service expansions are becoming increasingly important as carriers seek to optimise regional connectivity, reduce transit bottlenecks and improve schedule reliability amid evolving trade patterns. Enhanced Baltic feeder coverage also supports growing demand for multimodal logistics solutions across European markets.

COSCO Shipping Europe said the additional feeder calls underline its commitment to strengthening regional service networks and supporting customers with more reliable and efficient cargo transport solutions in the Baltic region.
