COSCO SHIPPING Ports reported a container throughput of 61.3 million TEUs during the first half of 2026, reflecting the continued strength of its global terminal network amid evolving trade patterns and resilient container demand.

The performance was supported by steady cargo flows across the company’s portfolio of terminals in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and other international markets. Growth in key gateway and transshipment hubs contributed to the higher throughput, underscoring the strategic importance of COSCO SHIPPING Ports’ global footprint.

The H1 results reinforce the terminal operator’s position as one of the world’s leading port operators. As global shipping lines continue to optimise network deployments and supply chains, COSCO SHIPPING Ports remains focused on enhancing operational efficiency, expanding capacity and investing in smart port technologies to support long-term growth.
