The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has initiated the process to develop a large multi-modal logistics park in Kappa-II near the Inland Container Depot in Dadri, aiming to strengthen the region’s industrial and logistics ecosystem.
Spread across 174 acres, the proposed project will be strategically located near Noida International Airport and will benefit from connectivity to both the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors. GNIDA has issued a tender to appoint a developer through an e-auction process.
According to GNIDA officials, the project is expected to significantly reduce logistics costs for businesses while enhancing Greater Noida’s position as a key industrial hub. The development is also projected to generate around 5,000 jobs.
As per tender conditions, bidders must invest a minimum of ₹1,000 crore and have at least 10 years of experience in the logistics sector. The land will be allotted on a 90-year leasehold basis, with a reserve price fixed at ₹11,000 per square metre. The registration process began on March 28 and will close on June 27, while the e-auction date will be announced later.
The logistics park will cover approximately 7 lakh square metres and include container terminals, cargo yards, mechanised warehousing, cold storage facilities, and infrastructure for handling bulk and break-bulk cargo. It will also support rail-linked logistics operations and provide trucking and last-mile connectivity solutions.
The project builds on earlier interest from companies such as Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, Super Handlers, and Empezar Logistics, which had submitted proposals during the initial phase.
Once operational, the park is expected to act as a catalyst for industrial growth by integrating road, rail, and air connectivity at a single location, improving efficiency and reducing dependence on fragmented transport systems. It will complement another logistics hub being developed in Bodaki under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor initiative.
