GT LINES has upgraded its KIX 1 (Khorfakkan India Express) service to a weekly frequency, further strengthening the India–Gulf trade corridor by offering enhanced schedule reliability, increased capacity, and faster transit times between West India and the UAE.

Effective immediately, the KIX 1 service will operate on a weekly basis, providing improved connectivity for exporters and importers moving cargo between India and the Gulf region.

The service follows the rotation Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Khorfakkan and is operated by a fleet of two vessels with capacities ranging from 1,100 to 1,400 TEUs.

The upgraded service offers competitive transit times of 4 days from Mundra to Khorfakkan and 3.5 days from Khorfakkan to Nhava Sheva, enabling faster cargo movement and improved supply chain efficiency.

Integrated with Gulftainer’s port infrastructure, logistics hubs, and the GT LINES Gulf Connect Feedering Network, the service provides seamless end-to-end connectivity across the GCC countries and Iraq, expanding market access for regional trade.

The enhancement marks another milestone in GT LINES’ strategy to build next-generation integrated maritime and logistics solutions, supporting growing trade volumes between India and the Gulf while delivering reliable and efficient shipping services for customers.
