    Indian Navy sailing vessel INS Sudarshini has concluded the opening port call of its Lokayan-26 mission at Oman, marking the first overseas engagement of the deployment.

    During the port visit, the ship and its crew participated in professional exchanges and outreach activities aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation and enhancing goodwill between India and Oman. The visit provided an opportunity for interactions with local authorities and members of the Indian community.

    The Lokayan-26 mission is part of the Indian Navy’s ongoing efforts to foster maritime diplomacy, showcase India’s rich seafaring heritage, and deepen ties with friendly nations across the Indian Ocean region.

    Following the successful port call, INS Sudarshini has sailed onward to the next destination on its planned itinerary under Lokayan-26.
