Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) on Tuesday hosted a high-level delegation from the Government of Andalusia, Spain, including senior officials and representatives from the Port Authority of Algeciras, underscoring growing international cooperation in the ports and logistics sector.

The delegation was received by JNPA Deputy Chairperson Shri Ravish Kumar Singh, IRTS, and was briefed on the port’s operational capabilities, infrastructure strengths and sustainability-led green initiatives. Officials were also presented with an overview of the vision, development roadmap and progress of the upcoming Vadhvan Port project.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured JNPA’s Centralised Parking Plaza (CPP) and the JNPA Special Economic Zone (SEZ), gaining first-hand exposure to digitised truck management systems and modern warehousing and logistics operations.

JNPA said the visit reinforces its commitment to global collaboration, knowledge exchange and innovation, as it works towards building future-ready, sustainable port-led ecosystems aligned with international best practices.
