    The Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) India is proud to announce the appointment of Jimi John, FCIArb, as President and Sandhya Pillai as Vice President of its new Executive Committee.

    With over 22 years of experience in advocacy and dispute resolution, Jimi John brings extensive expertise in litigation, legal advisory, and arbitration, both domestic and international. Her practice spans admiralty and maritime laws with a strong focus on marine insurance, as well as commercial and corporate laws, estate planning and probate matters, matrimonial law, intellectual property registrations, conveyancing, and Portuguese nationality registration for Goan-origin individuals.

    As Vice President, Sandhya Pillai contributes her own wealth of industry experience and strategic insights, complementing the vision and leadership of the newly formed committee.

    Together, they will steer WISTA India’s mission to empower and support women in the maritime, trading, and logistics sectors, fostering greater inclusivity, collaboration, and representation across the industry.
