In a move to enhance cargo movement efficiency, CONCOR has launched a bi-weekly assured dedicated transit container train service from ICD Tughlakabad (New Delhi) to CONCOR Terminal Shalimar (Kolkata) under the Hub & Spoke model, enabling cargo aggregation from Tughlakabad, Agra and Kanpur terminals.

The service, introduced on an experimental basis, has already demonstrated high performance with two successful trips completed in under 51 hours, significantly outperforming the 120-hour target and offering a transit time guarantee to customers.

The service features door pickup and delivery, ensuring end-to-end logistics support, while promoting sustainability through the use of an eco-friendly LNG fleet at ICD Tughlakabad. Additionally, it offers extended connectivity up to Guwahati via the weekly Kolkata–Guwahati service, further strengthening the domestic multimodal logistics network.
